About Me

I studied reflexology at Nature Care College and obtained an ITEC level 3 reflexology diploma which I passed with distinction. The course involved a detailed study of anatomy and physiology, theory and practical training, as well as over 100 hours of treatment time where I learned so much from my wonderful case studies, many of whom are now valued clients.

I am a full member of the AOR and the CNHC, so you can rest assured that I am fully trained, insured, and am committed to Continuing Professional Development. I love learning about new techniques and holistic healthcare, and enjoy being able to share this knowledge with my clients. The care I give during a treatment is only the beginning. I believe every client should receive high quality aftercare which will ensure that you get the best from your treatment and its benefits. I will often show clients some hand reflexology points which they can use between treatments to deal with specific symptoms. I also spend time researching the many and varied medical conditions I come across, in order to best support my returning clients. Reflexology is a fantastic way to gain a sense of taking back control when life is hard or stressful, or during a period of ill health. I can guide you on a path to self-care which is vital for long term wellbeing.

Alongside my private practice, my goal was always to ‘give something back’ by working voluntarily in an NHS setting. I feel very passionately about enabling patients who need it the most, access to complementary therapies alongside their medical treatment. I also think it is a testament to the fantastic work that organisations like the AOR have done, to promote reflexology and the research that has been carried out in recent years, that reflexology is now recognised as an effective complementary therapy and can be used within the NHS. This has also meant that many health insurance companies will now pay for their members to receive reflexology treatments, which can be a great bonus to clients who need a course of treatments.

This is another reason I am registered with the CNHC, as many companies will recognise CNHC registration for reimbursement. For example, Simply Health, Sovereign, Pay Care to name but a few (please check your individual insurance plan before booking).

I now work at Crawley Hospital on a Monday, treating patients living with cancer at the Olive Tree cancer support centre. I find my work there intensely rewarding and it’s a privilege to be able to offer help to my clients there at such a difficult time in their lives.

“Far from simply being a moralistic notion, the state of love is the very state of health. Love of nature, love of beauty, love of life, love of others, love of self – all bring serenity, harmony and balance down to the very tiniest cell of our thinking, feeling, acting, being.”
